Alex Rowlands
My research focuses on physical activity and health, particularly the assessment of physical behaviours using accelerometry-based monitors. Before joining the Diabetes Research Centre in 2015, I worked at the University of South Australia, University of Exeter and University of Wales (Bangor). I sit on the Scientific Committee of the International Society for the Measurement of Physical Behaviours and am an Associate Editor with the Journal for the Measurement of Physical Behaviour and Pediatric Exercise Science.
