Jonathan Goldney
I am a clinician and an aspiring diabetologist. I am also a Fellow on the Leicester Healthcare Leicestershire Healthcare Inequalities Improvement Doctoral Training Programme funded by the Wellcome Trust. I have a keen interest in early-onset type 2 diabetes, physical activity and lifestyle. My current work is focused on improving care for young people (<40 years) with Type 2 diabetes, particularly through working on the holistic person-centred multi-component “M3” randomised controlled trial. My other interests include investigating associating between physical activity/function and health and disease within big data; as well as investigating potential interactions between lifestyle and weight-loss pharmacotherapy.
