Tom Yates
I lead a diverse portfolio of physical activity research, which at its core is aiming to better understand how we can use movement to promote health throughout the life course in clinical populations. I completed a PhD at Loughborough University in 2008 and moved to the Diabetes Research Centre the same year, from where I have helped build physical activity into an area of strength and depth within the University of Leicester.
