Jack Sargeant

As Lead Research Manager, I work closely across the entire team to help meet the overarching vision and goals of the LLHRG. This includes supporting the effective delivery of our research to meet the objectives of individual projects and grants (including the NIHR Leicester BRC Lifestyle Theme and Research England E3 Award), and ensuring the sustainability and growth of the group.

I joined the Leicester Diabetes Centre in October 2017 having completed my PhD in Exercise Physiology and Cardiometabolic Health at Loughborough University. After 5 years working as a Research Associate across various projects, I moved into my current role in January 2022.
